This comprehensive, intensive 6 month program utilizes the Eastern concept that all things are interconnected and the flow of energy within and around our bodies affects our health and well being. It includes exploration of the body’s function and structure in a healthy system while weaving spiritual, energetic, and scientific aspects of herbs and nutrition with Western & Eastern philosophies on healing. Students will study Traditional Chinese, Ayurveda and Western patterns, archetypes & protocols for specific imbalances (dis-ease). This program provides beginner and advance skills by incorporating our Eclectic Herbal Primer and moving into learning about complex health imbalances and advanced therapeutic approaches through hands-on clinical experience. Students will make a variety of herbal preparations, go on herb walks, develop basic and complex herbal formula making skills, cultivate alternative diagnostic techniques, investigate case studies, work in a student clinic, develop a materia medica of 150 herbs, explore specific plant actions and contra-indications, and learn techniques to promote healing through harmonizing & repairing our body’s subtle energy fields. Students will walk away with a basic foundation in energetics and homeopathy and advance training in herbology, nutrition and holistic health protocols.
